A few films I have seen recently that I thought were sooooooo Shameless:

Seduction (Fernando Di Leo)
Les lèvres rouges (Harry Kümel) - loved this, reminded me a bit of baba yaga.
Eugenie: The Story Of Her Journey Into Perversion (Jess Franco) - The one with the dream ending not the other one.

How about NIGHT OF THE DEMON?
Perhaps this has been suggested elsewhere?

I'd like to see a remastered print of Mansion of the Doomed. It was the first horror movie I ever saw (back in the early '80's on Betamax) and it was released in the UK as Massacre Mansion.

It was a loose reworking of Georges Franju's Les yeux sans visage (Eyes Without a Face), about a crazed surgeon whose reckless driving leaves his daughter blind and so, after countless unsuccessful tests, decides to find unwitting 'donors.'

One scene I will ever forget was of a man with no eyes trying to claw his way out of a cellar and run to safety, despite not being able to see anything.

A lot of future talent was involved. Lance Henriksen (Aliens) had a role in it, Stan Winston provided the makeup, the cinematographer would later direct The Fugitive and the producer was Charles Band.

The VIPCO VHS was awful, and the only DVD release I know of (region 1) is even worse than the cassette. Definitely a lost classic

There's a Dutch dvd of Mansion of the Doomed but I haven't seen it yet,so can't comment on the quality.

How about a nice dvd of The Devil's Wedding Night?
I loved Rosalba Neri as Contessa Dracula and overall found this an enjoyable later gothic.
