I only suggested Spasmo as its part of the Surf Catalog that Argent have access to.

Spasmo has been on the radar before. As for Bava I'd love to see some good UK DVDs for his films but I suspect getting anyone to sell them now wouldn't be easy.

Spasmo would be great! I'd buy that for sure. (Even though I already own it!) It'd be great to get some Lenzi gialli out on UK DVD.

How about Mario Bianchi's The Murder Secret? A rare example of a late 80's italian horror that doesn't suck ass.

I'd rather like to see Murder Secret as well Loops, I'd back a UK release of Don't Torture A Duckling, Lizard In A Women's Skin, Seven Notes In Black as well. More Fulci Gialli!

How aboot:

Enzo Millioni's Fuga Dalla Morte (Escape from Death)
Leandro Luchetti's Le Specchio (Bloody Psycho)

Utter trash, but to my knowledge they've not had any release to date? Not even when EC were putting out the Lucio Fulci presents titles...

As for some of the Lenzi's mentioned,i've already got 2 dvd's of Spasmo and 2 of Eyeball,ok I've only got 1 of Bloodstained Orchids...

As for Bava, imho the only one that's in need of a good re-release (longer oven scene?) is Blood and Black Lace, seems there are already enough good Bava dvd's available.
The neglected La Venere d'Ille could maybe also be an option?

With the German dvd of B&BL going for ridiculous sums of money and the US VCI dvd being poor,I suppose there is a market for a nice new dvd.

To be honest I prefer "first time on dvd" releases...but that's just my opinion.

I just didn't like Spasmo, I found it overly long and confusing. I'd love to see Eyeball as it hasn't been released anywhere expect Germany I think it could be a good international seller.

Incidently where is the Surf Catalogue with potential titles?

Well...I like Spasmo but it's got already several excellent dvd releases,Eyeball could do with a better release, the master of the Italian and German dvd is the same and could be improved upon imo. There's a new French dvd announced but I don't know if that will be better pq. Love the original Italian artwork btw.
