The 2001 UK DVD was cut by 2 mins so hopefully Shameless or Arrow can release this uncut in 2010!!

Also Maniac, although there is going to be a new collectors edition released in the US this year.

The BBFC have only ever cut the film once and that was for cinema back in 1982. Both versions submitted since have been pre-edited (or R-rated).

It would fly through today.

Ah yeah.
I heard about that.
Although there is alot of confusion about which cut is the original directors cut, as the code red dvd is meant to be supervised by Romano Scavolini and is said to be his preferred cut.

As Shameless have released Flavia the Heretic and The Killer Nun, then How about releasing some more Nunsploitation from countries such as Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil and Argentina

a previous post mentioned The Lift but this may or may not be too expensive to get hold of.
just how many copies of shameless titles are pressed of titles?

The Lift has always been on the want list and hot just with Shameless - the price for the rights has always been silly though - it simply would never sell enough to make it viable - sadly! As for Shameless titles in general - along with most cult labels you go for manufacturing an initial 1000 copies.
