Very often the BBFC take a while to update their site. Even with recent titles.

It's just a one man band and these old films come with a host of stuff to deal with so it happens a little slower than would be ideal I guess.

On the glass dolls thing- I adore that film, it has a nice sinister ambience and some great ideas. Okay its not the most bloodsoaked of the gialli but its a work of art with some pretty smart political undertones.

I rather think it's a case of wanting to punish himself!

Was it his idea to start Shameless? or did you ambush him and take him prisoner? |

He had access to the films and had been pondering what to do with them. I then suggested Shameless... Poor guy!

How about Queens Of Evil (1970) or Night Of The Devils (1972)? I'm very surprised nobody's releasing a nice new Blood And Black Lace dvd? That's what I call an essential giallo... And how about Lady Frankenstein (1971)? The Germans were preparing this for dvd (with a nice English track) I think, but it seems it never surfaced. Some more: Top Sensation (1969/Edwige & Rosalba!) and Death Laid An Egg (1968) I would love to see more "restoration projects" as well....if possible |
