Non-anamorphic but it's the best we're probably going to get for a good while.

23rd Century also released this and I believe it's taken from the old Vestron tape (which I have and looks ok - cut by 1 second though!)

When Sergio Stivaletti was up in Scotland about 2 years I asked him to sign the tape and he started laughing and then showed it to his wife who also started laughing

Consider it a compliment and carry on like nothing happened.
These Italiens aren't all right in the head.

I'd go for 'em and didn't Ricci also direct Night Of The Sharks with Treat Williams and Antonio Fargas?

Beautiful cover artwork for the film and i seem to recall when HOS hit U.K. video shelves (as Fists Of Steel) there were reports in circulation at the time that lead actor Daniel Greene had recently died even though he was actually very much alive!

He did. There's a perfect Italian DVD release of that now though. Shame the film's rubbish even by Tonino Ricci standards!

His early 70s giallo Cross Current would be right up Shameless's street.
