RAGE a.k.a. A MAN CALLED RAGE (1984) I watched this Italian Post Apocalypse film at the cinema back in the mid-80s. It was directed by Tonino Ricci and stars Conrad Nichols. To my surprise, this film was quite good compared with others of its kind. If only Shameless would release this in the yellow keepcase to add into its Post Apocalypse genre collection together with THE BRONX TRILOGY. |
HANDS OF STEEL (aka FISTS OF STEEL) was directed by Sergio Martino and stars Daniel Greene. ;) Edit: Just noticed you changed your post. |
I am up for ANY Tonino Ricci stuff getting brushed down and released. I especially want an uncut, widescreen Bakterion/Panic (for the love of dog, PLEASE!!!), but I'd go for any other stuff he did too. His water horrors/fantasies would be great too: Encounters In The Deep, Bermuda - Cave Of The Sharks. |
Bootleg label 23rd Century released a few of his films including: DAYS OF HELL, THOR THE CONQUEROR and ENCOUNTERS IN THE DEEP. |

The image on the front of DOH is from the UK VHS of COBRA MISSION and the cover of THOR is from the VTC tape of ATOR:THE INVINCIBLE. http://dv1.us/p1/901/065901-d0.jpghttp://c.dv1.us/p1/367/072367-d0.jpghttp://a.dv1.us/p1/834/060834-d0.jpg |

23rd Century also released this and I believe it's taken from the old Vestron tape (which I have and looks ok - cut by 1 second though!) |
When Sergio Stivaletti was up in Scotland about 2 years I asked him to sign the tape and he started laughing and then showed it to his wife who also started laughing :D |

His early 70s giallo Cross Current would be right up Shameless's street. |
