A long-lost, sleazy film from 1970 which, apparently when the film was originally release, actress Mae West fought to have all prints destroyed because she thought it was based on her life!

The synopsis from IMDB: "A glamorous movie queen of the 1950s is revealed to be a man whose secret led to complicated relationships"

A review from a transgender film site: "Ahead of the social conventions of the time, the film suffers from a small budget and comes across as nearly soft porn, but it's nonetheless fascinating. Significant plot elements are the lost son who believes Dinah to be his true mother, and a boyfriend who knows the truth about Dinah"

It seems that there is a region 1 import (released in 2010), but as far as I'm aware, it has never been released in the UK

If Shameless were to release this film, I would buy it in an instant, and (going by the above reviews), I'm sure it'll be high on the list for Pete to get as well!
