Default I Spit on Your Grave (1978)

Always assuming the BBFC are lenient and wee Viv and co at Mediawatch don't kick up a fuss... This wouldn't be a bad release. And the artwork would have potential

But censored isn't it? An uncut version would be brilliant. Shameless would be the best people to do this.

Apart from Amsterdamned, which they released due to acquiring it along with a couple of other titles from Nouveaux as a package deal, all of Shameless' titles have been Italian films so far. I can't see a film like 'I Spit' fitting into their line-up at all. Add to that the recent 101 release (who will own the rights for a fair while yet I'd bet), and I can't see this being at all viable for Shameless to release.

Plus, the film itself was only re-evaluated by the BBFC in the last few years when 101 submitted it and was still cut, so I'd highly doubt whether it would come through 100% scissor free if resubmitted now. In a few years time; who knows? ...but at any rate I can't see Shameless being the ones who submit it.

No, unfortunately not. The Australian release is your best bet where Blu-ray is concerned.
