Default Death Steps In The Dark

"Death Steps In The Dark" I would love to see Shameless re-master this giallo movie and present it in the glorious yellow sleeve.
They could even release it as a double set with "Death Carries A Cane"
or .....a triple box set with "Death Walks In High Heels"

and call it "The Shameless Giallo Death Collection" ok...that's rubbish I'm sure the shameless guys would come up with something brilliant.
Shameless could also do it as a tin/steelbook in the glorious yellow

An official English friendly release would certainly be welcomed,a very enjoyable giallo imho.

It overdoes the comedy a little (the stereotypical dumb Swedish blonde) but is a good little giallo. I think I posted some stills of it on here a while back. Will look for the link later when not on my phone.

yeah Paul you are very right in saying that are a large number of comedy parts in this giallo compared to some but that was one thing I immediately found interesting about this giallo, the blonde as you mention along with the cross dressing disguise and then the safe breaking gag.The way it mixed it with some violent set piece murders ( the roof top murder I think is one if the best murder set pieces from a giallo ) for how much I love this giallo I still think the final is a bit disappointing but it remains one of my faves.

I'd certainly welcome a Shameless release of Death Steps and Death Carries a Cane, they have releases in Europe but aren't either English friendly or have bad transfers.

yeah your right there JAMIOUSE regarding these films and their elsewhere in europe release.I have the remastered of the messed up X-rated italio giallo series of "Death Carries A Cane" which to be honest is not really that bad...ive seen a lot worse and I only have a fan copy of "Death Steps In The Dark" which is great, crisp looking and guess what ! it has english language and uncut...including the sliced up body with insides hanging out. I was told this brief scene was cut at the time of release. Can anyone else confirm that ?:
