It's gotta be Peter Jackson's uber-gory, splatstick comedy Braindead for me, nothing else comes close.I remember buying the Polygram rental video on first release.I still haven't bought the film on disc.I guess I'm waiting for someone to do justice to both Braindead and Bad Taste on either DVD or Blu-ray.

Candyman

I love the story of the Candyman and whole film has a great creepy vibe with some fantastic music to add to the feeling of doom also helping was the grim setting of the Chicago projects everything just came together nicely to create for me very unnerving film. Great performances from Virginia Madson and Tony Todd

Well i'm gonna say 'Man bites dog' just to be different. Love Twin peaks, Braindead and Dust Devil also but Dog affected me the most.

The Cat (aka Lo Mau, 1992, Ngai Choi Lam)

HK AFF

Ahem. A tale as old as time. A girl and her pussy.
It's not set in a department store before you ask
I digress.
A hapless salaryman finds his neighbour's activities ... distracting to say the least , and so we enter a world of madness. There's a character called Errol for a start
Earth is yet again the battleground for opposing aliens to wreak the havoc and all that.
A chainsmoking detective tries to make head or tail of this malarkey. This may seem meagre, but it's all in the telling with this one
Recommended AF.
