Default Prisoner reunion on A Current Affair

Found this via the Talking TelevisionAU website.

Further down the page for 18th March there's a mention of a series of TV reunions on the show A Current Affair. To celebrate the start of the recent rerun on the Australian pay TVchannel 111 Hits, they did an item on Prisoner, which can be found and viewed online at their website. I can't post the url here but a google search for current affair prisoner reunion will get you close. It was broadcast on 3rd March.

It's also been put on on youtube, I think.

Great to see Patsy King in particular still going strong.

Here's a link to the story.

Prisoner reunion

Watching it hits home just how long ago Prisoner was first broadcast. Patsy King is in her 80's.

It's only about 10 mins long, but packs a lot into those minutes.

Fantastic stuff there, Laura. Great to see them doing so well - some haven't changed much, especially Bea.

I haven't watched the link you are talking about, but the story that was on TV here in Australia recently seemed to be more about how the actress who played Bea Smith was the only one with a decent manager and she is the only actress getting royalties for the DVD releases!!

A sad state considering the love of this series...
