Totally agree with you, which is why I didn't mention anything about DEEP RED in my previous post. I was merely stating that the BBFC aren't unapproachable in certain circumstances.
The act of cruelty in DEEP RED can't be disputed and due to having laws against these things here in the UK (rightly so too imho ) the film must be cut or censored in some way. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that it will be cut, the film will still be the masterpiece it is and I'll be buying it day and date of release.
