The New York Ripper for the first time last week and
The Black Cat a few days ago and think you're probably right about the latter being the best watch on Halloween.
Sure, this no doubt depends on the crowd you're watching it with but, like you say, the gothic ambience seems ideally suited for this particular night.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this btw, especially the music and the sly riffs on Hitchcock that kept popping up.

Manhattan Baby would make an alright Halloween watch btw? Kinda curious as this is the only one in the box I haven't seen yet.
