I'm working my way through the Hammer Draculas, watched Scars of... yesterday. Last time I watched this I found it really tedious but I thoroughly enjoyed it on the re-watch. Some of the castle models were frankly laughable but it had a good cast and as a whole I found it very enjoyable. (Loved the perspective shots of the view from the castle window, very Bava-esque)
Dracula AD 1972 is next. I first caught this on one of those BBC double-bills and have loved it ever since.
I haven't got Satanic Rites yet: one question - has it ever been released in anamorphic widescreen? I know the R1 Anchor Bay release isn't and as far as I can see none of the other US releases are either. Was there ever a decent UK release?
I wanted to start on the Frankensteins next but have stumbled on the first hurdle - it seems the UK Warner DVD of Curse... has been deleted
