The "Guinea Pig" series of films aren't too bad when set against some of the appalling (in terms of violence/gore/general morality) underground stuff that's come after it, the August Underground series for an example. In fact, as interesting as the first two are (the rest being gory certainly, but bringing storylines and a certain black humour into the mix), I'd suggest that something like Cannibal Holocaust, or some of the mondo films mentioned in this thread far surpass Za Ginipiggu in terms of pure nastiness.
The Charlie Sheen story always raises a smile though.
