Of course Blue Underground has (slowly) begun responding
to Arrow's amazing and prolific releases by announcing
INFERNO and DEEP RED in the coming weeks/months, but I
plan to continue buying Arrow's releases because their
efforts have definitely earned my admiration and
support. Yes, Blue Underground's releases may prove
a tad better in terms of PQ and audio specs/configuration,
due to the MUCH larger USA market/pressing sizes, which
will allow them the luxury/budget of spending more time
and/or money doing pricey restorations and elaborate
film transfers... But Arrow's PQ and AQ are already
so excellent that the differences (if any) will
likely be slight. That said, I'll definitely
pick-up Blue Underground's releases as well.
Let's face it, there aren't many companies working
to bring rare/cult films out in hi-definition,
and the few that are, deserve and need the support
of fans of this kind of cinema... Even if it means
buying Arrow's releases for their superb artwork,
packaging and extensive supplents, and buying
Blue Undergrounds for the (perhaps) slightly
better PQ and/or 7.1 DTS MasterAudio."
I couldn't agree more with the above opinion and very well said.

Of course, i personally do enjoy Arrow's releases for their "lavish, feature-laden" incentives as well as the appreciation of the target audience the label's titles are intended for.
