I thought the director was Gareth Edwards, not Grant, and that
Monsters was one of the finest science fiction films I saw last year. It is a really involving road movie with quite incredible direction by a first-time director and, considering that he did all the CGI himself on his home computer, it looked quite stunning on a big cinema screen. It is one I'll rent at some point to see how well it stands up to repeated viewing.
