It's good to see another fellow fan of I Drink Your Blood.

It's one of my favourite low-budget trashy horror films from the '70s and is a riot from start to finish.

But, even though it's labelled as cheap exploitation, it still feels slick in both its style and execution. Also, the performances are very decent from a cast of relative unknowns.

The Grindhouse DVD is indeed superb (and one of my favourite DVD packages to date), and The Director's Cut is certainly the best way to view it; although I do prefer the more 'downbeat' ending.
