Hello everybody! How you all doing?

Move over Sharktopus and make room for...

Roar!

FROZEN FOR 150 MILLION YEARS… NOW HE’S HUNGRY!

You remember 'Sharktopus', right? Of course you do. Well, having spent the past couple of months living it up in the limelight thanks to the success of his own “bio-pic” on DVD, Sharktopus would now like to introduce to you his long-lost cousin, Dinoshark, an equally ravenous denizen of the deep with a similar taste for Mexican food, particularly when it’s served up at the tourist resort of Puerto Vallarta. Given that place’s track record regarding carnivorous carnage, you do have to wonder why people go there.

It was frozen in glacial ice over 150 million years ago. Now, global warming has just hatched it in the Arctic and it has travelled to Puerto Vallarta to thrive in the resort’s warm waters and to feast on the locals. On the menu is a massive Mexican buffet of sailors, swimmers, lifeguards, jet skiers, horny tourists, bikini babes and more. Bullets will not pierce its prehistoric armour and it can leap out of the ocean to devour both parasailers and police helicopters alike.

When they discover their mutual best friend has been served up as an hors d’oeuvre, a rogue fishing boat captain and a sexy science teacher (combining beauty and brains in one very unlikely package) set out to avenge her death by destroying the ravenous pliosaur before it takes a monster bite out of the resort’s local fiesta and an all-girl water polo tournament.

Produced by legendary B-movie producer Roger Corman (Sharktopus), directed by Kevin O’Neill (Dinocroc) and starring Eric Balfour (Skyline; 24) and Iva Hasperger (Exorcism; Vlad), Dinoshark delivers all the blood, guts and monster mayhem you would expect from the people that brought you “Sharktopus”.

Dinoshark (cert. 15) will be released on DVD (£9.99) by Anchor Bay Entertainment on 2nd May 2011.
