Seriously though, I've never really rated this one, but the way you describe it; it actually sounds really good!
Seen now in 2011, without the hype, it is very good, very bloody in places and like all good gialli you don't know who the killer is until the final reel.

For me, it was this film along with Sliver, Body of Evidence and numerous direct to video efforts starring the like of Deborah Shelton, Shannon Tweed and Shannon Whirry that made me investigate the Italian masterpieces they were obviously influenced by. (Unfortunately the American sex and murder films are still only direct to video and have not made the jump to dvd)
