But I did think along a similar line when I read his tweet to be honest - if a film director who is surely very technically-minded and passionate when it comes to horror films has nothing but good things to say about the release (and who doesn't have to say anything at all at the end of the day) then surely that's worth about a hundred of people sitting with a notepad and paper scratching their chins while going on about contrast, artifacting, blocking, smeariness etc.
