Particularly since the footage is most likely in decent condition as the director never questioned the possibilty of restoring the original version in interviews dating as far back as the early 90's....IF Paramount ever gave the green light.
It'll be now or never...but unfortunately I know myself too well not to see me settling for the same old print on disc yet again as long as it reads "SE" on the cover sleeve...
