I just finished watching Peeping Tom for the first time in my life. I wanted to write a short review, but I simply can't. I am still stunned. Stunned is the word. Or is it mesmerised? I really don't know. I only know that I LOVED watching this movie. Cinematography, score, and, of course, mainly Carl Boehm (or Karlheinz Böhm, to his friends) - 'impressive' is a word that sounds convincing. But it does not even come close to doing justice to this masterpiece.

Phew. It's a fantastic thing to find such a gem on a great Blu-ray today. But you know what makes me feel very sad? The fact that Peeping Tom nearly totally ruined both Powell's and Boehm's careers - instead of boosting it!

Greetings!
