If Pete's right then it's a fair assumption that sex and sleaze do sell, in terms of cover art and back-of-dvd-imagery, regardless of the actual content!
I'd love to see a list of the highest-selling Shameless dvds out of interest; I suspect NYR and Torso would be the highest for some reason. If 50% of Shameless' sales are from the high street then I suspect that whatever holds the privilege of worst-selling film isn't necessairly down to the quality of the film itself and more to the cover art. |
Almar said a while ago that NYR was the best selling but was since overtaken by FLAVIA.
