I remember seeing it uncut on laser-disc in late 80s, really brutal opening that explains Bronson's rage. Much different from the watered down bbfc vhs. Winner does take some flack(some deserved) but he does tell a good yarn with very little money. In 'Firepower' he films Sophia Loren so well that she's charming and sexy in virtually every shot(if you're a fan of ms. Loren it's a must see). Can't remember the time frame but a guy in New York shot 3/4 muggers dead on the subway as they tried to mug him, don't know if he inspired the film or the other way round.
