Dear lord. I cannot begin to describe my annoyance with the term 'worthwhile upgrade from DVD'. If it's not vastly better than the DVD everyone involved should be shot.
1080p is 4 times the resolution of DVD for crying out loud. It should be at the very least the same quality leap from VHS to DVD and then some in all honesty.
Might be the wrong place for this rant and it's not aimed at anyone in particular at all. I just think it's trying to lower expectations when they, rightfully, should be sky high.
