In New Westminster they had a Insane Asylum that was later turned into a school for "troubled" youth which was used by the province to dump all the people/kids that no one else wanted to or could deal with any more.Years later it was forced to close by the local government due to rampant abuse and torture through out the Institution.After they closed it down and tore the majority of the facilities apart not only did it have an alarmingly large amount of graves out back(thousands of graves) but they continuously found more and more dumped/hidden corpses while they were tearing down the place.From the late 80s on they started off selling the land to developers and such .Normally they exhumed the bodies and move them to another location but back in the late 80s a land developed bought up the land and landfill and ended up using it to make a sidewalk/pathway building foundations and such.Then a couple years later a lady turned over the concrete slabs and turned out they were tombstones.Turned out they just used them including the bodies and that as landfill and used it as land fill and later they built condos on the graveyard.
