It isn’t.
Compared to the dvd and the Terror Vision vhs it’s far superior.

But,be good to see it get the same treatment as Masque of the Red Death.

I’m surprised CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED hasn’t appeared on the HMV Premium label.
Here’s hoping. It’s almost as good as the original.

Anyone else got a soft spot for Carpenter’s remake?

I like it. The blu is only £5.99 on Amazon right now. I was going to order it at the end of the week.

It's odd but as i watched the two films i thought the first one (Village) was outstanding but was mildly disappointed with Children, however the church setting gave it a kinda Quatermass and the Pit feel for me and it's actually stuck with me more than Village.

I have both in a dvd box set.

I tried to edit the OP to take into account the new release but for some reason it won't let me do it

Just notes to say that Children of Damned and Eye of the Devil are available from Warners in the US.
