Chomping at the bit here to hear your thoughts on the disc.

Got Total Film this morning. They have given Suspiria Blu-Ray a glowing review.

My Copy from amazon has been shipped!!!!
Should have it by Tuesday which is disappointing as I could have got it on day of release. But oh wells

While this new Suspiria Blu-Ray certainly sounds a more than worthy purchase the only disappointment personally for me is the apparent lack of any of the trailers found on the earlier ABUS and ABUK DVD releases. Surely these vintage extras could've been included on this new edition too?

But apart from this minor gripe i can't wait for my pre-ordered copy to arrive.:)

Yeah the trailer would have been cool to have but the main thing I am disappointed with is that they could not include the 25th Anniversary documentary from the US AB dvd. I really dont want to buy the dvd just for that though. :(

I know the feeling and it was a let down when ABUK failed to include this extra on their nevertheless impressive DVD.
I was also hoping Cine-Excess would address this issue and allow this documentary a U.K. appearance on their own Suspiria release.

Something of a missed opportunity there methinks!:tsk:

It was probably a monetary issue, or possibly that Anchor Bay/Blue Underground didn't want to let them have it because they might want to try and release Suspiria on Blu in America.

Our review is now fnished and should be up on DVDActive by this evening.

Great stuff - I'll look forward to reading it when it goes live :)

Blu cant release it anywhere as they dont have the rights to it anymore. The Weinstein Co has the US rights and they are not the best studio for releasing dvds. AB/Bu are being a bit stupid if they didnt let CineExcess have the documentary if they had asked as they can only release the documentary alone and I doubt that they will do that.
