I put off reading Max Brook's book for some time. It sounded terrible, from the title. It was shallow of me but I bought it down to the Simon Pegg quote on a re-issue. Who says that celebrity endorsement doesn't work?
After seeing Shaun of the Dead I knew that Pegg wouldn't recommend just anything...and I was right; what an awesome novel! Guaranteed to make any zombie fan take notice.
So, when a film was announced, with Joe Michael Stracynski writing the screenplay, i was very pleased. But, of course, with most things that Hollywood get hold of, it appears that it's gone to s, h, and 1 t.
