If you haven't seen it already, if you thought 'Giallo' was bad then check out the leaked trailer for 'Dracula 3D' minus the special effects (I can't post the link yet). Effects or not it looks ****ing shite!

The
only way to do a faithful adaptation of the early video games is go for it balls to the wall. Considering the kind of American horror that has got R ratings the last decade like the mega lucrative Saw series then I don't see the problem. But RE was released two years before the so-called torture porn boom hit with the first in that franchise. The genre up until that point was just churning out watered down for the masses bile like all the 'Scream' clones. So from a business POV I can understand why they would go for the safe approach with Anderson to get big box office. It just sticks it to the fans though!
