I love the "grindhouse effects", especially in Rodriguez'
Planet Terror. The missing reel, scratches, noises - it all makes the movie look older than it is, which is a good thing for flicks that replicate 70's Grindhouse atmosphere!

Planet Terror and Death Proof are both excellent - I couldn't pick a favourite at the moment. Machete was slightly less impressive, but it's still a fine movie.
