This film is really creepy - I must watch it again. It drips with a certain malevolence, just a really concentrated sordidness without being particularly explicit in terms of either gore / sex / sleaze. I never know whether the 'Cuckoo Clocks...' 3 hr version stuff is rumour or apocraphyl or what.
