I agree Nos. His earlier stuff was
much more varied and that was when he was at his best. But very recently it just feels as though all of his characters have a big dose of Jack Sparrow in - Mad Hatter especially. I've yet to see Dark Shadows, but it just seems so similar to his other more recent Burton characters.
He is a fantastic actor - no doubt about that! His early performances are incredible and films such as Public Enemies and possibly Run Diaries (I've not seen that one) show he has more to him than the similar Jack-esque roles he's been playing very recently.
