Yes they cut this shot last time in 1984 and it's certainly possible they might still today. Going back to the hardcore stuff - the BBFC do seem to be getting more liberal by the day in regards to what they will allow in an 18, just 10 years ago pretty much nothing would have been allowed. So give it another 10 years or maybe less and Caligula might scrape through.
I'm not optimistic about this film being submitted uncut for many years to come anyway.
