True enough, I still enjoy The Burning, for that very reason - I just don't think Halloween 2 executes the concept well at all - on reflection probably because there's no build up - anticipation is usually the best part of these films - this is just like the last 10 minutes of a slasher spread over 100. Very thinly spread.
