I'm fairly certain there's some sort of explicit hardcore stuff in the uk release. It's been about 7 years since I saw it but the BBFC did seem to keep most of it intact from what I remember. I presume the BBFC did that as its a French film so they probably think its arthouse and the plebs won't watch it.
