There are 3 versions. The R Rated cut at 85 minutes with a lot of gore scenes removed.
The US unrated cut at 97 minutes, is the one on that blu ray, and is Peter Jackson's preferred version, as he was allowed to give it some "additional spit and polish", in his words. But this still doesn't have all the gore scenes.
Australia and the UK got the complete 104 minute version upon original release, and there are still some DVDs of this around, but you will mostly find the 97 minute version, as it's essentially the "Directors Cut"
