Two loads in HMV's 5 for £30 promotion:
A couple of things I should have purchased much sooner, but held off hoping to see them in the sale, but didn't (LOTR: Extended Trilogy & Ghost Stories for Christmas). A couple of new releases from the 24th (Berserk & Persona; Dual Format releases at DVD height make me sad
) one from the 31st (Berberian; one of my favourites of last year) and a few things in the sales:

I'm yet to properly try my Kindle out though, as I was in the middle of a book, which I just finished last night!
It will be very quiet between now and the 28th of January for me, when the release schedule suddenly gets crazy.
