The expression 'rape face' just made me laugh out loud, sorry!
I've just returned from the cinema where I saw I Give It a Year. It isn't a conventional rom-com and easily passes the minimum laugh requirement and, whilst being fairly predictable, is unconventional enough to be a fun watch.
You could about going to see that instead.
