When I was a kid, my cousin rented this out and I thought
how lame is this gonna be, a killer car!? 
- I picked "Madman". But now, over the years I've come to love it, while I think Madman is kind of meh.
Not many directors could pull off such an absurd idea without it being a complete cheese fest, but Carpenter, helped by a great cast, manages to do so.
