Just watched Rose and halfway through The End of the World and had forgotten how RTD used to spoil practically every episode with an annoying joke, reference or stupidly implausible plot device (the cork going into Auton-Mickey's head, the wheely bin burp, the stupid trans-time/galaxy mobile phone battery). Really annoyed me when I first saw the episodes and still does now.
