Indeed! I only saw it for the first time the other week, and that inconsistency of tone pretty much killed the film for me. That and the naff narrartion. I definitely wouldn't buy it. Tell you which one scene is better than this film - the daytime murder in the park in Fincher's
Zodiac. I had that scene running through my mind all through TTTDS . . .
