I've seen the BD release of this now and it's yet another title with incorrect levels (just like Lady Snowblood, The Key and All Ladies Do It). I know the masters for these titles were provided by third-parties, but I'm really surprised Arrow didn't correct the levels given that they are so clearly wrong. Black is meant to be black, not grey. I suppose one can always fix it by changing the RGB output levels on the BD player, but I'd rather it was fixed at the source.
