Finished the story last night on 79%. Wow, what a ride! Incredible characters, and a gripping story with varied gameplay have made this my favorite game ever I feel. The amount of effort and detail put into the game (the flip-flops flopping, the clothes getting wet only up until the level of water you've walked into, the pedestrians running across the road as the lights turn green, the general randomness of the NPCs) is unreal and although I'm engrossed in the online component of the game now I really just want to run the story through again, taking the different approaches to the heists. An absolutely stunning game and the true crown of the generation.
Looking back over the story it seems a bit odd that the story didn't take full advantage of what you could do. Unless I missed something there was never a mission where you had to parachute somewhere *and* shoot people, I never flew a fighter jet etc etc
