Tobe hoopers film is an entertaining little romp that seemed to burn through cannons money like it was toilet paper. Not that this is a bad thing. No way would a grotty exploitation piece like this get a HUGE budget like the one Hooper had thrown at him for this one. They should have kept the title space vampires which really fits the film better. Lifeforce is a hugely entertaining slice of Schlock that should not be missed and the Arrow release does it proud. Many memories of Ms. Mays Mamories (see what I did!) and the habitual teenage self abuse they inspired came flooding back.  | I was stuck on a submarine with a pervert from Newport when I first saw this! The VHS used to almost automatically stop due to the pervy one's habitual freeze framing and slo-mo-ing!
