I've seen five of his features:
Goto, Island of Love;
The Beast;
Love Rites;
Immoral Tales and
Behind Convent Walls - and I agree it
is easy to pigeon hole him. Granted I'd need to revisit them as it's been many years since I've seen some and none left a lasting impact at the time - I always found him an acquired taste.
I understand much of his filmography is not readily available though and would love to see some more of his non-erotic work.
