I also know what you mean. There's plenty of sexual content in the world of cult films, be it in Gialli or horror. I practically grew up with Uncles Jess and Jean, so its always been part of my catalogue, and much of the time the best part of it.
Quite often i've seen it raised that films don't need the sex as long as they keep the violence which to me takes most of the exploitation away from the genre. |
It's all very British. I remember years ago people writing in to complain about the amount of nudity in THE DARKSIDE magazine then gushing over pictures of women hacked up. What a weird nation we are to be afraid of sex.
