The local council better get their act together as i've been on the housing list for over two years and every time i apply for a property i never hear anything back. I mean where am i going wrong? i have a permanent full-time job so i can pay my way, i've no kids or pets and i'm not a nuisance neighbour so if this doesn't qualify me for my own place i don't know what does! 
It just gets so frustrating with me wanting to unpack all my DVDs out of their boxes and onto shelves for all (including those here) to see. Yet the opportunity still escapes me.  |
Same everywhere.
We were lucky as I was able to buy my uncles council 3 bedroom house and get his tenacity reduction when I came back to Belfast in early 90's , as I lived with him just before he died or i'd have had to wait 3 maybe 4 years to get a house in the estate I was born and bred in .
I know good family people who are waiting that long today for a house in a standard council estate were I live , it really is disgracfull the waiting time for a house .
