Your
New York Ripper DVD sounds very much like a promo release. I doubt that it's a bootleg (though it certainly happens) but often Vipco, and many other companies, would release promotional, advance or review releases for films that were later cancelled. They did the same with the VHS of
Night Of The Bloody Apes.
NYR was definitely never issued on DVD until the Shameless release. So it sounds like a nice promo you have there, Vipco.
